Doesnt deserve one star

Continuous problems. Cant arm or disarm remotely, times out all the time. My wife works for the alarm company and they cant fix it. Utter garbage.

Doesnt Work at all

This app will no longer connect to your security system. Arming or disarming produces an error. This may have started with the last IOS update. You can try adjusting your temperature, then it continually flips back to the original setting. Pretty much useless.

easy to use

I think if my 85 year old father can use it, I give 5 stars.

Inconsistent and glitchy

Ive been installing/servicing security, CCTV and access systems for 21+ years and quite honestly we have had nothing but issues with total connect (not just mobile app) even with the latest update it works intermittently at best. Have had Honeywell technical manager attend site we have most issues with and it is still giving nothing but problems. Automation scheduled for thermostats change randomly, panels do not sync most of time and its extremely frustrating for both the client and our company. Will NOT be using Honeywell products on any sites that require remote services again.

French localization pretty bad

The app is ok, and works as advertised and supports TouchID, which is nice. But a lot of the items in French are misspelled or grammatically wrong. The button to « Disarm » the system says « Désarmé » which would mean that it actually is disarmed already. Were it not for the icon, this would be even more confusing. And the fully armed system is stated as « Armer total » which means nothing really, although one can guess. Partial arm is translated as « Armer partiel » which again, is simply strage and could mean « Arm my denture ». I wouldn’t write a review for this, but there is no Support section on Honeywell’s web site at all.

New version doesnt work (Edited)

I initially posted that the new version doesnt work and only opens with a blank screen. This is true, however, it seems that the issue is with the fingerprint notification not appearing when the app is first opened after the update. After unlocking the app with the fingerprint reader and re-entering my login info, all is well.

Problems

Since the last upgrade I cannot get one of my 2 cameras to work. Secondly I no longer get any video alerts with the one camera that does work. Prior to the upgrade they both worked fine. Great job guys!!

Need to be polished / squash bugs.

This app looks like a low budget firm made it. It needs to function better, look better and squash the bugs. Presentation is lacking and features. Please consider this. Thanks.

App does not allow un-arming!!!

Been having issues for a week. Can arm alarm but can not turn off alarm with app. Please fix bugs.

Great app but need more polish

All my z-wave devices are perfectly controlled with this apps. A section with Tv and cinema amp could be nice to add to this controller.

Poor quality

Every time I go to log in I always get a authentication error and Ive tried lots of different things to get it to work and still doesnt. Very disappointing app.

Updated to Uselessness

App updated last week. Before it was glitchy. This has been solved by making it completely useless. App hangs while arming the system and fails to do as commanded. Shame the minimum possible is one star. Thats TWO too many.

Needs to update faster.

This app doe not update the status of the house properly. If I choose disarm it will carry out the request however in the app it will still say it is armed. Therefore I cant rearm it because the app says it is already armed. It does eventually update(hours later) but it needs to be an immediate.

Video Slow

Since the last update, my video events do not load at all or take en eternity to display the video event. Pretty much useless now.

App no longer works

Displays inaccurate information; cannot arm or disarm system. I rely on this app and am hopeful it will be fixed soon.

App works fine but localization is horrible

Somewhat improved French Localization in the latest release. Although "Armér" doesnt exist. Extra r at the end. Most of the other translations and buttons in some screens are truncated too. (Notifications, etc). But at least the meanings are no loger reversed.

Nice App with room for improvement

Great app allows me to connect to home alarm, thermostat, and doors. Mobile app has a nice layout- easy to navigate. I like the updated version requesting code be entered prior to disarming. Issues: sometimes doesnt stay connected to panel, have to close app & try again. Thermostat and app are 1/2 degree off. Notifications stopped working, cant seem to fix. Improvement: Have multiple locations to connect to - would be nice to have a drop down menu to keep other location login credentials instead of manually entering each time for each. Keep up the good work

Works great except light turn on delay

This App has worked good for my purpose except that most of the time the bulb sign shows the light is on but actually they are not. I have to check through my security camera to confirm. It turn the light on after trying two or three times.
