Still broken!!!

Latest update, still not displaying proper status of system. Honeywell, fix this now

Ugh!

Every time there is an update the app goes hay wire and wont work for days. I wouldnt be using this app if it werent for our alarm company.

Works

Works great on my iPhone and iPad. Even works on my Apple Watch

Why only 3 thermostats? Please fix!!!

Controls only three thermostats?? Why wont Honeywell fix this? What a joke. It doesnt make any sense. What if you have four or five thermostats?

Definately not worth the trust, money or time!

Save your time & money and look for a more reliable system. My system is down 80% of the time. Always blaming anything but their system. When it work it fantastic, but since its down most of the time I dont have any thing good to say about this system. Not compatible to incorporate any other products like boosters or anything to try to work better. Not willing to try to replace any pieces or parts of system to trouble shoot possible issues with their system. Not willing to come up with solutions or fixes for their system not working, other than passing the buck. When I did call, they wouldnt even talk to me about issues or discuss anything about my problem. I was told to contact the company that installed it, which led no where. Who knows their product better than the company the make it or supplies it? Money lost, probably need to look a someone elses system. At least I would be secure and money better spent.

Systems Check... All Clear, NOT!

App continues to show false system status. Says lights are turned on when the lights are actually off. Shows alarm disarmed when the alarm is actually set. Honeywell needs to assess the bugs and address the issues. I see I am not the only one experiencing these problems. When purchasing home security, you expect to get a sense of comfort and piece of mind. This app negates such feelings as you constantly need to second guess if status on the app is correct. ***Honeywell please fix***

Garbage

Has to be the worst app I have ever downloaded. Never shows correct status and can never connect. Doesnt work on iPhone or iPad. Worked for about 3 days and thats hit and miss.

Unsure if app works

Peace of mind. I dont think I can trust that the app tells me the correct notification. Please fix the issues stated by everyone. App needs upgrade and it would be nice if notifications were not only email or SMS based.

What happened to finger print identification

Cant believe they removed the finger print sign on. If I would have known I would not have upgraded. Disappointed.

Scheduling Arm and Disarm times - much needed

I would like to be able to schedule arm and disarm everyday or certain days so it automatically arms at a certain time and disarms at a certain time. Makes a lot of sense for business customers. Having a vacation schedule or customizable scenarios is a must. Put this feature in please.

Perfect except one thing

When we first starting use this app, we could control the lighting and security for our home. Since an update some time ago, we can only set and adjust the security. There is no option to control the lighting. A total bummer.

Latest improvement is not

The most recent upgrade (Apr 2016) has changed the logon. It now automatically logs you in when you open the app if you have the box checked “Keep me logged in”. If you uncheck the box, you can no longer store your login ID and PW in the app. It is not that big a deal but it is not a welcome change…now I have to remember the logon info or just remember that opening the app also logs me in.

Getting better

Getting better and more reliable with each upgrade, but why doesnt the new version support more than 3 thermostats with the VAM like it now does with the Tuxedo? No support for VAM?? I use the VAM and I have 4 thermostats at home but can only see 3 at Total Connect although all 4 appear at my VAM web address. Previous review: Great interface and functionalities, and therefore great potential, but unfortunately very unstable and unreliable. Overall, lights and security system work ok but Ive had trouble with every other Zwave device. Namely, the garage door opener works, but I cannot trust what the app tells me. Sometimes it tells right, sometimes it tells me the door is closed when in fact it is opened, and vice-versa. Same with door locks. It tells me the door is unlocked when it is locked and vice-versa. If you are away from home, which is the main point of having a system like that, how can you trust what the app tells you? The worst is the thermostat. It works fine by itself, and if Im home I can control it directly from the VAM web address using my iPhone or iPad. But the Total Connect app simply does not control the thermostat. The controls are there, beautiful interface, and Im able to change the temperature and everything else, but the thermostat doesnt accept the commands. It is not an issue with the thermostat because like I said I can remotely control it through the VAM. Perfectly and totally. But the commands from Total Connect are useless. And as you all know there is no customer service whatsoever from Honeywell. Pity. It could be a great product.

Total Connect 2.0

The TC 2.0 app is functional but the Total Connect 2.0 is overly complex and barely functional! Notifications need to be completely re-done. A simple notification based off a system status "snapshot" in time isnt possible. Having switched from another system that used Alarm.com I am dissatisfied with TC2.0 and would switch systems if it wouldnt cost me!

Why only 3 t-stats? Not enough.

Can only control 3 T-stats - should be unlimited - please fix with next update.

Login SLOW

With the latest update the app is much slower to log in or at times it fails to log in. This is REALLY annoying when your alarm is going off! PLEASE FIX THIS!!

So far behind.

It stinks as a total connect dealer trying to sell customers on this amateur design and limited functionality. The competitors app designs arent stuck in iOS 5 design constructs, offer push notifications and an ease of accessibility that make remote control of their systems seem like a priority. The iPad app is much closer to the realization of what a customer should expect.

Solid App

As we know apps are usually hit or miss, but my 2 1/2 year experience w/this app has been "SOLID" w/no real issues to report. Nice job, and please keep up the good work!
