Total Connect 2.0 App Reviews

Please work out the kinks in this app that was used as a selling point in my home security system. I loved the option to disarm my system from outside on my phone before bringing in our son who falls asleep in the car. Instead I try 5 or 6 times without success. Then I come inside to disarm from the keypad and the loud beeps wake him up. Please fix this.

Let my start by saying that this is my first time writing a review. I usually dont like wasting my time to write reviews for my apps but this by far is the worst app and I needed to warn anyone who wants to use this feature. The app takes way to long to connect. Half the time it does not connect. When my alarm is disarmed and I connect to arm the system the app tells me its already armed which is a false reading of my keypad. Dont waste your time!

This app worked alright, albeit SLOW, before the last update. Now its just glitchy and I have no idea if its working or not. Is it arming or disarming the alarm or is it just ignoring me...

Dont know what you guys did, but this app is no longer working with iOS 10. The previous version worked fine. I hope you can get it working again. :-(

Half the time this app doesnt even work. When it does work, its extremely slow to connect. Right now, Im dealing with receiving ZERO notifications. Its quite frustrating that I do an update and nothing improves... it actually seems to get worse.

Please update your app the look and feel is very outdated also features are limited, why is here no quick night mode option ? Instant?

Sometimes I can arm / disarm my system through the app, sometimes I cant. How about 100% of the time the app functions as its supposed to?

Super fast, controls alarm panel, door lock, lights and builds scenes very easily! Im a fan, love it. Will say you need high speed internet at home to make it worth while (i.e. 70mbps or better).

Why do you insist on telling me that notifications are paused and making me hit Ok every time I open the app?? I already know that they are paused, just let me open your app in peace! Very annoying!

Geofencing needs time restrictions. I only want to be notified of leaving the premise un-armed at certain times of the day.

Dont agree with the 1 star ratings. This app works fine. Also the tools that come with the alarm, key pad and system all work fine. Also camera that I have streams in 1080 quality. Well recommended. Great update as well that reminds if you forget to set alarm. Keep them coming.

Thanks for adding the geo location reminders to alert me I forgot to arm my home. Already helped my wife today.

useful new feature, geo-location reminders. already helped me yesterday, i fogot to arm my home before i left for the day!

After the update this week the system wont are or disarm, it jumps to the zone screen. Hard to demo the system to clients when not working.

Neat new geofence notification. Very cool

The lag time for this app has always been bad, especially compared to the last alarm company we worked with. Ive learned to deal with it (just have to disarm my system a full three minutes before I want to open the door, and dont trust it when it says a connection cant be established) but the new geofencing feature doesnt work. Background location is on, etc. but no notification when Im leaving the fence.

Adding IFTTT functionality would make Total Connect 2.0 worth the frustrations. Please add this feature!

I believe this is being worked on, but it was promised some time ago. Once the app supports multiple partitions, it would be a 4 or 5 star app. Update 11/19/16: A new version came out and the multiple partition feature I mentioned above is still not built into the app. 2 years ago I was told it would be ready by end of 2015, then first quarter of 2016, now looks like 2017. Not sure what the hold up is but this app is somewhat useless for any business that uses multiple partitions. A shame the updates are catering to 3rd party equipment and not their own devices first.

App hasnt worked for months

Ive set my alarm off more with this app than just getting out of my car and walking to the keypad. The speed of transmission needs to be significantly improved. The geofencing doesnt work at all. The thermostat control doesnt work for making changes...it works for viewing the current setting.
